Rockport Rotary's Lobsterfest is a unique outdoor dining event held each summer at the American Legion Hall and bandstand in Rockport (on Beach Street, opposite Back Beach). Proceeds benefit local community service projects and the club's scholarship fund.
Lobsterfest was held on Saturday, August 7, 2010. Admission included a hot-boiled lobster, home-made clam chowder, corn-on-the-cob, roll, watermelon, and soda or water. A cash menu was also available with hot dogs, hamburgers, and beer, wine, and desserts. Entertainment was provided by the Cape Ann Jazz Band.
