Join us for Lobsterfest 2010!
Rockport Rotary's Lobsterfest is a unique outdoor dining event held each summer at the American Legion Hall and bandstand in Rockport (on Beach Street, opposite Back Beach). Proceeds benefit local community service projects and the club's scholarship fund.
Lobsterfest will be held on Saturday, August 7, 2010. Tickets are $25.00 and include a hot-boiled lobster, home-made clam chowder, corn-on-the-cob, roll, watermelon, and soda or water. There will be a cash menu with hot dogs, hamburgers, and beer, wine, and desserts. Entertainment by the Cape Ann Jazz Band.
Tickets can be purchased from any Rockport Rotarian, at the Legion Hall on the day of the event, or from Granite Savings Bank, John Tarr Store, Rockport National Bank, Village Silversmith, or Bearskin Neck Leathers.

Rotary Youth Exchange
Rockport Rotary Club is proud to be able to provide exchange opportunities for Rockport High School students, as well as for visiting students from countries all over the world.
Rotary club membership represents a cross-section of the community's business and professional men and women. The world's Rotary clubs meet weekly and are nonpolitical, nonreligious, and open to all cultures, races, and creeds.
2010 Open Door Dates
We will be sponsoring and serving meals at The Open Door on March 24, June 23, September 22, and December 29 (all Wednesday evenings). If you'd like to volunteer or have any questions, please contact Bob Gillis, Tom Davis, or Bruce Drohan.
The main objective of Rotary is service — in the community, in the workplace, and throughout the world. Rotarians develop community service projects that address many of today's most critical issues, such as children at risk, poverty and hunger, the environment, illiteracy, and violence. They also support programs for youth, educational opportunities and international exchanges for students, teachers, and other professionals, and vocational and career development. The Rotary motto is Service Above Self.
